Mike’s work involves review of proposed and recently enacted legislation and initiation or review of various forms of guidance (such as revenue procedures, notices, announcements, private letter rulings, regulations, etc.). In addition to having served in the Legislation and Regulations Division of the Office of Chief Counsel at IRS and the Office of Tax Legislative Counsel at the Treasury Department early in his career, Mike has been a partner or of counsel at two law firms, a director at a Big Four accounting firm, and a sole practitioner. Mike received his J.D. degree from Stetson College of Law and his L.L.M. from the National Law Center at the George Washington University in Washington, D.C. |
