EIN Applications for Indian Tribal Governments & Their Entities
This video explains how to get an employer identification number, or EIN, for your new tribal entity using the IRS online EIN tool. Federally recognized Indian tribes aren’t subject to federal income tax. This tax treatment also applies to certain tribal entities that aren’t recognized as separate entities for federal tax purposes.
